Thanks shaneystar2. I expect it doesn't matter where XOC and SOC go as they don't affect anything else. I looked thru' Chambers but missed tiring-glass - see it now.
Have a great Christmas. Expect I'll speak to you again before New Year (if not Christmas).

Hi shaneystar2. Have just noticed you gave answer as XOR and then mentioned XOC further down. Presume you mean XOR is the answer?
Sorry ...it is XOR ...my New Years resolution is to take a trip to the opticians and learn to type correctly !

All the best jenniferd for a Happy Christmas and a happy healthy New Year.
I put SOCin the right-hand grid because the other S answer is in my left-hand grid, and XOR in the left-hand grid because of the same reason.
......also I've got TIRING GLASS.
Yes it is Tiring Glass !

I think I'll give up and go and have a lie down ..and to think ..I was looking at my copy as I was typing ...I blame the fog .
Agree with teacher ref positioning of XOR (left) and SOC (right) for reasons stated.
and the other reason is ...

put 'Xor' in the left-hand grid, because the other 'X' letter starter is in the right-hand grid.
