As for uses....anything you want really ranging from prawn cocktail for starters to prawn curry, prawn stir fry, paella, seafood platter, prawn and tuna bake....the list is as good as your imagination !!!
it's best to defrost frozen prawns in cold water. This gets ride of any excess and unnecessary salt. They will defrost quite quickly in this manner at room temperature. Once defrosted it is best to drain them in a colander and then pat them to remove excess water.
