Don't forget you need to connect that usb to an aerial, teash.
It does work inasmuch as the quality is quite poor. And you only get free stations, no matter what the seller claims. These stations are usually obscure 'foreign' stations that you would not want to watch.
Any paid for, premier station is streamed from a server, so the quality is dreadful - and it certainly is not legal.
I use Freecom freeview on my PC via an external aerial, not the provided indoor one. I had to make one small setup change to get a picture. But..................the picture and sound quality is excellent. Recording to hard drive is easy. Just over 1gig used for 1 hours worth of recording. I often put these recordings onto dvd via Nero 7. The above refer to the currently available freeview channels in the UK. Currently over thirty, plus radio channels if you want. If you travel with a laptop the device can work anywhere that broadcast freeview channels!
