hi. my favourite artists at the moment are:
-iron and wine
-elliott smith
-kings of convenience
-nick drake

can anyone suggest anyone that i might like based on these artists ? iv tried sites like lastfm and wasnt that impressed by the aptness of the recommendations!

How's about Scott Matthews?

Heard him live on Mark Radcliffe on Wednesday night and was very impressed, hell of a voice, good guitar player (acoustic) and he was accompanied by a Tabla player.

Chances are if you like Nick Drake (as all sane men do!) , you'll like this!

just to give an update - thought scott matthews was 'so-so' to be honest.

never really got into damien rice. i like a couple of his songs but he sounds a bit contrived. il check that website though, thanks

i love bright eyes - 'im wide awake its morning' album. perhaps i should get more stuff by them!?
