Female cats in season.
4 Answers
We've had our little girl now for about 9months, she rocks totally, lovliest little thing ever. Only problem is her going in season, she seems to do it every TWO weeks, for about 7 days average, she makes tons of noice crouching down and just craves your attention - if your not in the room with her, she'll play and sleep quite happily, the monet you go in the room she starts meowing and making this weird vibrating humming noise, which she does normally when u suprise her - not purrring :p - she generally does it out of season as if to say "what u doing!".
Anyway, is this normal for female cats? shes an indoor cat unforunatly because w elive in falts, but shes well looked after and see's plenty of people, shes never short of attention.

See I'm not the only one who gives human attributes to cats... although that is a bit weird and creepy... Sorry pudz, have no idea, have you considered having her 'done'? If in doubt as with all answers on here concerning animal weirdness ~all togther now~ take her to the vets!
I'm with becks on this one. I'd always get a female cat spayed if you don't want to use her for breeding...maybe it's cute now, but when she's screaming her head off all night cos she wants a boy cat & she's just letting the nighbourhood know she's available...then you might not be so happy!!
Seriously tho, she'll always be trying to sneak out & find a boyfriend if you leave her with all her hormones raging...happier cat if you get her spayed.
My girl is doing the same thing she had her first kitten 4 weeks ago and is trying to hump everything all the time. We are waiting for the kitten to go on solid food so we can have her done. I suggest to get her done to, or she will drive you mad. I am pulling my hair out and I feel sorry for my girl.
