Maybe thats what it is then. I only drink alco pops and vodka so i wouldnt really know if it changed if i was to drink something different.
Hmmm, is it when your walking down the street with a can of beer, as this might have somehting to do with your weight...

No its when im sat down in a pub/at home and drinking
Do you smoke as well? My mate has this problem sometimes, but he is a bit overwieght and he only seems to have problems if he smoking or walking or eating snacks whilst he is having a drink. Your probably better off going to your docs as it might be summat serious.

Nah i dont smoke at all, i dunno if maybe its something to do with the fact that vodka and alco pops give me really bad acid indigestion so could be linked? cheers for your advice :)
freak, I think it would definitely worth your while to contact your GP. It is obviously not something that would normally happen, particularly if you are at rest.

It could be something as simple as being unfit, or possibly even be an allergic reaction to something... on the other hand, it could be representative of something potentially more serious.

Take a note of how often these attacks occur, length of duration, and any elements in common, approximate alcohol intake etc, and go see your GP.

Cheers for that i think i will do! might put my mind at rest. Its only started happening just recently aswell. Its quite horrible at the time though i have to conciously breathe and for some reason i just get this image of my dying of a heart attack one day :S
I get something similar...there's no problem if I only drink beer, say 3-5 pints on a good night, but 2 or 3 JD&coke somehow makes breathing quite difficult, as if I can't get enough air in my lungs!. strange....
Question Author
Yeah thats exactly what i get and it makes you conciously breathe. I wonder what it is?unless its just that drinking makes us tired so automatically our breathing and everything slows down?
