I have just bought a Canon MV 890 camcorder,does anyone know whether it can be connected to a computer and what will I need to do this?

Did it not come with an instruction book ?

It does have a book but the instructions are shared by 4-5 other models with slight variations.The reason for my question is that it's a bit ambiguous in the book. Thanks again!
