My mother-in-law has bought a flat which needs completely refurbishing ie. New kitchen, new bathroom & toilet with re-tiling, new carpets and redecorating
( wallpapering and painting)

What is the best order in which to have these things done ?

Thanks.

Strip out old kitchen and bathroom
Redo plumbing with bathroom and any pipe changes needed in kitchen
Refit kitchen
Refit bathroom sanitaryware
Tiling
Painting
Wallpapering
Carpets

Sequence might have to vary if she's living in it during all this.
I would suggest put in what has to be fitted (whatever order you like), then tile and decorate where you have to, and then carpets
Forgot to include kitchen electrics, which should be step 3.
