Cataloging CD Collection
4 Answers
Do you know of a site where you can just feed in the title of an album and it lists the tracks. I am currently cataloging my collection into a box containing sleeves (similar to ones DJs use) to save space which means losing the cases and information they contain and I want to just cut and paste the information into a database rather than have to type the whole lot out.
Thanks in advance!

I think in the long run it might acftualy be quicker to type it in. I have done this in excel for 28000+ tracks - columns for song title, album and artist. Which can then be sorted every-which way.

Used to be called CDDB.
If you type in the album name, it'll give you a track listing which you can cut and paste into notepad and lose the itunes adverts on the right.
If you do this for a few, then import the notepad file into excel, you can have it all columnated.
