F keys

I know that if I press F5 it refreshes the screen but what do I press to get a new window.

How do you mean? IE6? IE7? Firefox? Opera?

Rather than going to File then New Window can I go to the F keys on the keyboard

I still don't know what browser you are using and all browsers are different.

It's usually Ctrl+N

Thank You Ethel Happy New Year Ctrl+N does now open a new screen just what I wanted but now how do I find out what the F keys are forjust above the number on a qwerty keyboard running on windows xp.
