Was Saddam guilty?

Will it soon be an offence to deny that Saddam was a mass murder? (i.e.denial of the Holocaust)
We are told he was, but then we are told many things to fit in with what our leaders want us to know.
Just an argument for discussion, before you all jump on me.
And why do we call him by his first name (a form of endearment) and not by his surname, as we do all other criminals?

There have been lots of Husseins, from the Iraqi government to the England cricket team. Saying Saddam makes it clear which one we mean.

Do you know that for certain jno? perhaps it won't but I wouldn't hold your breath, stranger things have happened.

Regarding the use of his surname I suppose there was alot of Hitlers in Germany and Austria, and many Stalins in Russia but we didn't call them Adolf and Joe, everyone knew who they were, so I don't think anyone would get a mass murderer like Saddam mixed up with an England cricketer.
