HI all... I have Clio 1.9 diesel with electric windows. Drivers window is stuck down. Switch will not bring it back up. You can here the relay click when you press down, but not when you press up. So am assuming that the relay is faulty. Does anyone know how to short the connector plug that the relay clips onto so that I can at least get the window back up until I get a new switch? Or does anyone else have any other suggestions. Willing to remove door panels to try to raise window manually but time is a problem as the car is ALWAYS in use in the day. Long question - sorry - but thanks in advance for any help. Neil.

if passenger window works, will not be relay. Switch Ign on and prees switch up or down and see if the ign light dims slightly. This will show that the motor at the window is trying to move. If so i would remove door panel and give the motor a tap with a hammer while putting window up. Remember you can't fix the car while it is ALWAYS in use.
