Hello again!

I used to when I was young and trendy, now I'm old and haggard I'm an Ethel Austin (or if feeling flush, a M&S one) type of gal.

Now my 18 year old daughter regularly goes and was totally flabbegasted that not only had I heard of it but that I used to shop in it....lol

aww im sure your not. i bet your still fighting fit! do you still 'younger, teenage clothes' or do you feel comfortable in your M&S?

I dunno to be honest, yeah I'm think I stick to 'youngish' looking clothes, but nowt daft. Too terrified of looking like mutton dressed as lamb, and I've never really liked showing too much flesh anyway, prefer a bit of class (why is everyone else laughing???)

So I guess the answer to your original question is no, I don't shop at Aflecks Palace anymore, but it always was THE place to get your clubbing gear.

Yep, heard of it- I live bout 15 minutes away down motorway, so we're neighbours!....sort of anyway :-)

I used to go every weekend when I was younger as they always had something different in every time. It's pretty crap now and has become quite commercial although I still pop in for old times sake whenever I get the chance to go to Manchester. And it's always worth going to see some random Coronation Street actor pretending they shop there.
