Anyone Recommend a PC/Laptop?
3 Answers
I've been thinking lately of replacing my PC but dont really know what to go for. I'm looking to spend about 500 - 600 on a home PC, or even a laptop. All I would use it for would be the internet, downloading music, hooking up my digital camera to and the occasional blast on a football management game. Anyone got any ideas about a particular system to go for or what to look for? Many thanks.

They only sell over the internet and I have always found them excellent at delivery, only 2 or 3 days after ordering it arrives.

Although I have heard some good reports about Dell, my laptop, bought from them a year and two weeks ago, has just conked out. It's not been heavily used, but the hard drive has gone kaput.
I've looked on the Internet to see what can be done and have found several reports of similar problems with Dell computers. It may be that I've been unlucky - one generally hears more from those who have problems than from those who have none - but I'd check out what other people say before spending your hard-earned cash on one of their products.
