hollyoaks max and claire

over christmas i neglected hollyoaks..the last episode i saw was on the 22nd Dec when claire took mazfor a holiday "he'd never forget". What happened????!!!!!

claire took max and tom to a countryside cottage to basically kill him. max had no way of phoning for doctors and was trapped. then after loadsa evil antics, she went out for a walk. max found the pills she was giving him and saw that they were all empty.
As her last antic, claire threw tom's jacket into a lake and screamed 'Max! Tom's drowning!!' but she locked tom in her car. then Max in a rush dived into the lake to save tom, only to find he wasnt in there. Max in his unstable condition was drowning and had v little energy left, started drowning.
OB came rushing in time, punched claire in the face, and dived in to save Max.
i thought max had died coz then at the end, when the music plays, it was sad music and the background went black.
but hes ok now
