My husband had an accident at his work recently he was driving a dump truck and it rolled he wasn't badly hurt thank goodness, but he could easily have been. His company refeuses to give it's workers training and tickets for these machines, does any one know where the law stands on this sort of thing? such as is it absolutely necessary to carry a ticket to drive these machines? Thanks

Hi Wee Frankie
I don't know what State your in, but recently some California employers have been cited bt the department of industrial relations because they did not provide the effective job training to their employees. If you are in california you can also contact the California Dumptrucks owners association. They have lots of valuable information for drivers. I work for a workers compensation insurance carrier and am the safety consultant for the dump trucks. Good Luck
