live box / belkin wireless adapter
2 Answers
I have signed up for the Orange broadband and phone package, I I got my livebox up and running wired, I decided to go wireless so I bought a belkin adapter,f5d7050, After a lot of time spent I got the thing working, I even took it back to the shop but he told me to have another try with it.
So here I am now the livebox is showing wireless ready, The adapter led is blinking away but, in my network connection page it still shows wireless not connected,
I think that I have done all the things that you need to do to get the thing to work but it seems that I need to switch it on somehow.
I am on XP 2 media .
Can anyone help before i tear out what little hair I have left.

I had problems connecting, but after a couple of phone calls to the belkin helpline i got it sorted. I had to get the network key from my isp, and put in a wep key and then it worked. But if your live box is like mine it will have the networking key on a sticker somwhere. just give them a bell and they should sort it for you. Good luck
