we will be travelling to edinburgh next week, (by train) with our 12 week old baby. As we live 5mins away from train station here we are only taking our pushchair with us, as i do not like him sitting in travel system when he can lay flat in the pushchair. however, does anyone know the rules on taxis...here or scotland...do we have to provide a car seat or do they provide one??? we may not even use a cab but just want to be sure??

There is stupidly no rule on this, is there anyway you can get a black cab? With the higher roof so he stays in his pram? Thatys what i use if i need a cab somewhere as taking a car seat is not an option!
whnenever i needed to take a taxi i either tried for a black cab and she stayed in the pushchair or she had to sit on my knee, neither are ideal but there seems to be a big loophole here.
