Smell of Gas
3 Answers
I have a Falcon range cooker, around four years old. The front gas burner has started to give off a smell, a bit like paraffin is the only way I can describe it, and the flames of the burner are burning higher, I have to turn it down. What could this smell be, is it dangerous?

Try to take off the burner and give it a good old cleaning. Unfortunatley CO (carbon monoxide ) the killer we have all heard about is odourless so it does not smell at all !!!. If you cannot see anything wrong with it then follow the advice of megnom who posted earlier.
