What does it mean when you have on and off pain, and when you touch it at times it feels like it's almost squeaking, or your foots asleep. But when the pain is there is really severe? Also I can pop it too.

My son has had osgood-schlatters and that is very similar to what you describe. Could be cartiledge problem or fluid on the knee. The fact that your foot goes numb means that a nerve is getting affected somewhere. Good site is:

Hope you get is sorted soon.
doctor could be a good idea, but a physiotherapist or a sports therapist could be worth thinking about as they specialise in soft tissue injuries - and rather than just giving you painkillers and anti-inflammatories, as a suspect a doctor probably would, they will test the joint and try to work out the cause of the problem (rather than just treat the symptoms). It could be any number of things, probably just something simple like tightened muscles around the joint that a stretching program will sort out quite quickly. I had the same problem when i was cycling a lot, hamstrings shortened and knees when a bit odd (and sore)- but was easily fixed (by a sports therapist)!
As physiotherapist i must say... What? Where?
From your description it's ipmossible to make a guess. If the foot gets numb, it's likely that a nerve is affected. Maybe from a swelling in the back of the knee. Unless you can point at the hurting area it's hard to make a diagnosis. See a physiotherapist or a GP.
No, you guys miss-understood me. I mean when you touch the knee it feels like it's squeaking, but at the same time the knee feels the same as if your foot was asleep, it kinda feels like the pain is under the kneecap. I played soccer for 9 years, but had to quit because of the pain. Sometimes it'd feel like my knee weighed 1000lbs. It happens in both knees too.
