Tracing relatives in Romania
My Grandfather came from Romania bu did eventually emigrate to Britain he dies when my Mother was only about 6 or 7 how can I find out about his birth and if I have any relatives out there I do know whereabouts he came from

Do you know where he was buried? Is there a stone to look at for perhaps a birth date?
At some point it is likely that your grandfather became a British Citizen and there should be a record of his naturalisation papers in the Arcives at the record office at Kew. Did he serve in the Army in either WW1 or WW2? there may be records available from various sources there.
