If you have kids I had a problem this year getting my 6 year old to sleep in case she woke up and "he or one of his elves was in her room" So I would say have an answer ready! also my colleague every year lets her kids open 2 presents on Xmas eve which are always new pyjamas and a new book (gets them to bed nicely). Although I don't normally use credit I done some shopping on a Frazer card that guarantees if any item bought goes in the sale within a 100 days you get the difference back. Great for my sons 150.00 coat! couldn't bear the thought of it being 75.00 a few days later.
a little one in the family was playing up one afternoon before xmas , so her mum sent a text message to her landline purporting to be from the big man himself and got her daughter to answer the phone when it rang. She was very well behaved after that and told everyone that Father Christmas had phoned her. The wonders of technology :)
