My mother's asked me to post this for you
"Go ask that website you go on who give you answers to all your questions" were her exact words...she wants to know why the following names are shortened to what they are:

Edward to Ted
William to Bill
Elizabeth to Betty
James to Jim
Margaret to Peggy
Robert to Bob

Any answers or pointers to what sites to find this out on are greatly appreciated. Thanks all !
