Quadrophenia Soundtrack

Following my question below, does anyone know why My Generation is not on the sountrack CD? It seems strange, as the song was obviously a big part of the film. Many thanks again!

When the film first came out there were two albums available. One was the soundtrack - this is all of the music that is played in the background that is not actually in the film. The other album (the film score) contained all of the tracks that occur during the film - such as My Generation - tracks which actually appear as part of the film itself.
I think that the original film score album is pretty hard to find these days but you can find analgamations of the two albums but obviously theere will be tracks removed. I think that both albums were originally doubles.
