Hi, I've just got a brand new Transit and want to hook my Ipod up to the stereo, its the 6000 CD model. It says in the manual the there is a jack for doing this but not WHERE it is, the is an AUX button on the unit to select what you've connected. I used to have a Mondeo and the jack was in the glove box, anyone out there that can help because I am at a loss?
Thanking you in advance.

I have an AUX button in my car but it is not fitted with the jack. I have bought one of the gadgets that you plug into the lighter socket. It's a USB one and my mp3 player plugs straight it. Works a treat. Maybe your jack is not fitted in the transit and you only have the switch ready. I was told it was cost around 25 plus labour. I have a fiesta.

Thankyou maggie01, I think you might be right.
Did you mean that the dealer would fit a jack for 25 plus labour?
After trying a number of different methods, I've found this device to be cheap, absolutely excellent & easily set up:

DivaDebs,
just checked out the link and its looks perfect. You're a diamond.

Yes it was the ford dealer where I bought my car from. The gadget I bought was very similar ideal to the one divadebs mentioned.
