Theres very strong explanations for all the conspiracy claims
Plus the fact that the lunar landings left behind laser reflector boxes

http://sunearth.gsfc.nasa.gov/eclipse/SEhelp/A polloLaser.html

These have been used by hundreds of scientists (not just in NASA) to measure the distance to the moon with incredible accuracy.

So No it wasn't

The reflector was actually left there by the aliens that the US has working for them at Area 51.
I think that those who support the conspiracy theory are involved in a conspiracy.
This has been done to death here, there are so many holes in the conspiracy theorists claims. All aspects debunked here:

I can't believe there are still wallies out there trying to peddle this horssh1t.

Consider this, If the government where contemplating faling it they would do it once and say "great we've been to the moon", nex! No they wen't six times.

Good one Eddie the voice of reason. You're right of course these loonies are so determined it's a fake that even when the telescope shows the debris they'll claim the US put it there.....! Hang on!
. . . and what's this then . . . a martian I suppose?
Is that not you Mibn2 just after you left the slanty thread the other day? Hmmmmm..... (Ahem, sorry.)
I cant make my mind up on this. Never have been totally convinced, but deep down I think they did get to the moon.
