I see another Labour member has joined the 'do as I say not as I do' brigade along with Blair, Abbott, Harmon and, I suspect, many others.
Now personally I don't see anything wrong in private/selective education, but I do see something wrong in Labour MPs telling us our kids should be educated by the state and then doing doing the exact opposite, particularly in this case having been the Education Secretary until recently.
Jholland - I completely agree that it is right and proper to put her child before any party politics, but if she is going to do that she should NOT try and mask her decision with a load of old cobblers.
She should also publicly denounce Labour's education policy because, patently, she doesn't believe in it.
new labour are useless,all about quick ideas ,and as a pm he is no good ,the people he picks for jobs are no good at all.look at the home secerataries.blunckett,he could not see and that did not help .the home office was in a terrible state .then mendalson ,he got two jobs ,had to leave both ,so tony sends him to europe on another cushy number .
