Peter Osgood is the footballer who died 2006.
Bikini
Pepe Reina is the goalkeeper who saved 3 times in May in the FA Cup Final Penalty Shootout
clothing item: Turban ?
Pea Pod is correct with Bikini. I subtracted 40 from 2006 and got 1941 hence my answer of turban.
Need a refresher course in arithmatic.
oxburgh ... Forgive the interuption ... did you get this one from AB. It sounds familiar so I think I have sent for one. Don't know which I am waiting for now. Several of my requests have been stolen recently and sae returned empty. Was it a request when you sent in another one.Hope this makes sense but I am just trying to trace which ones never got to the quiz address. xx
The quiz came from Dean Gibson Catholic School.
My question 40) does not say anything about the footballer dieing in 2006. It just says Played for England four times during his football career.

Poodledoo question came under Hatches, Matches and Dispatches question number 46
Just to say I had 1 coin stolen from the envelope which the quiz organiser returned to me to show me the neat little hole which had been cut out, and wasn't really noticable. I now send cheques but 1 seems such a small amount to write a cheque for.Evsajo
Just to add another incident to non-arrival of quizzes. In early October I sent 2 cheques in the same envelope - one payable to J King and the other payable to the Bardney Group of Churches quiz, with a SAE as I believed that both quizzes were available from the same address.

In December I received my SAE containing both cheques plus my original envelope with a scribbled note to say it had arrived at a house in another part of the country (I forget where) and they were returning it! Why on earth did they not just put it back in the pillar box?

The closing date was too near for me to start again, so I shredded the cheques. Those charities will never know of my intended support.

Also, a cheque was cashed by a B. Herron but I never received the quiz - probably lost in the post. i now make a note of where & what I have sent for.

I also had a neat little hole in a envelope, I now make copies of the quiz and note cheque sent and date, but do find most people genuine.
