Doggy don't eat!

My dog thinks that dog food is somthing like poison! Whenever we show him his food he runs away! Yet he eats cat food! HELP!

Perhaps he just prefers cat food. Some people are English but prefer Chinese. Seriously, phone your vet, I'm sure they'll be able to assist.

you say your dog runs off when you show him his food. Have you had the dog from a pup or is he a rescue dog? Is it play when he runs off or is it fear? please let me know

He could just be looking for attention. Try to make sure he has no access to cat food, put his own food down and walk away. Dogs can be hugely manipulative!

dont let your dog eat cat food, its very high in protein and really not good him, just leave fresh dog food bown and when hes hungery he will eat it.

You should also consider different brands of dog food, different varieties and wet/dry/fresh etc.

i think you should try a different dog food maybe he tried that dog food and it tastes bad so he doesn't want to eat it anymore so that is what i suggest!@!!
