Where does the Yellow brick road start and finish?

I thought it started in Munchkinland-where Dorothy meets Glenda-and then it goes all the way to Oz where it ends...but I could be wrong.....

In the film the yellow brick road starts in Munchkinland and ends at the Emerald City. I think that in the book there are yellow brick roads coming from other areas of Oz but they all end at Emerald City. Even in the film Dorothy comes to a crossroads in the yellow brick road and doesn't know which road to take. This is where she meets the scarecrow.
