Depends how much - for small sums cash in the post, but be aware some countries do not allow this and others mandate it must be sent international recorded.
For larger amounts Western Union or Moneygram (the latter from the Post Office) will allow the recipient to pick up cash locally - not that cheap though.
Other methods require a bank account so I won't go into them.
Western Union has a high charge. I send money to someone in USA frequently and use PayPal - the charges are cheaper. If you are thinking of a very large amount of money then use a Bank Draft.
yeah no its not a large sum of money but the recipient does not have paypal either so the cheapest method really is to send through international signed for which takes 5-6 days to reach south america where Im sending.
