With the threat of global warming leading to sparse water supplies throughout the world, water is becoming as scarce as oil. We have plentiful supplies in the North and in Scotland. Why don't we capitalise on this by exporting the stuff...we could even bottle it first?
Careful on this question, Another school of thought states that we will probably have more precipitation with more floods There is much unknown about G Warming including whether it is actually happening (Iceland, for instance is getting colder, I believe).
water is already exported and traded in some countries, maybe someone has already mentioned this but that was a mighty amount of reading so i just scanned through so if i missed it and im just repeating someone im sry, anyway, the water is transported in huge "sack" like containers, and simply floated behind a tug
