This is a beast!
I thought no. 2 might be Van Gogh's "Bridge at Arles", but then there's a spare 'o'. It could be "Bridge at Langois, Arles" if only there was an 'n'.

4. Is nearly "Flatford Bridge" (Constable) except no 'd'.
Could have been Turner's "Battle of Trafalgar", but then I'm left with an 'i'.

6.I was thinking of "bathers..", but can't get Asnieres or anything else I know. "Battle" is there too.

I'm admitting defeat due to ignorance and the fact that almost anything seem possible. Sorry, sorry. Driven me crazy too.
