Bluetooth Dongle

I have just bought a bluetooth dongle (the thing that plugs into USB port of PC) but have realised that i dont actually know what to use it for!! Any ideas?!

It can talk your bluetooth phone, or pda to synchronise with your pc.

You can use it with a bluetooth headset so you can skype without wires.

But why did you buy it?

Is Skype that telephone thing over the internet? Can I download things with it?

Skype is a telephone system - people can send you files over it, but it's not like Kazaa, if that's what you mean.

The dongles a god send for me especially for ebay, take a pic with my phone and send it straight away to my pc, it saves all the hassle of connecting leads

I used one of these, and it will let an Ericsson phone become a remote control for your pc, to control windows media player and various other apps. It may work for other phone brands too, but it was handy for watching dvds on the pc.

I have another question now!! When i got home last night - i opened it up and inside the package was a small disc for installation. Its like a mini disc though, not a full size one! What am I supposed to do with it!?! there are no instructions to help me!!

Iv'e got one of these things it copied everything from my phone to my computer except my pics, don't know what happened to these,can't find them.

cant answer the minidisk question, dont you just put it in your PC?

i use my bluetooth dongle to send photos from phone to PC and visa versa. You can also use it to store your contacts on the computer =D
