i need to do my roots - dark brown hair to a blonde - 12.1 koleston with a 12% 40% liquid peroxide = what are the mixing ratios peroxide to cream and how long should i leave it on for - i was told that after a while on application it stops working - is this true???

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I do my daughters roots with the 12/1 Koleston but use the Cream peroxide 12%, not the liquid (not sure if the liquid one is harsher to the hair or not) You need to mix 1 part of the colour with 2 parts of the peroxide. eg- if you mix 30ml of the colour, mix 60ml of the peroxide with it. It tells you exactly how to mix it and how long to leave it on for in the little booklet inside the box the colour comes in.
