mouldy walls

how can i prevent and get rid off mould growing on the walls in our bedroom. also can it affect your health? thanks to anyone that can help!

try opening the windows for a few hours every day and clean the walls with a mildew cleaner from most supermarkets

How about using a dehumidifier? (I think thats how you spell it!) They are very effective. Moose1976 is right about keeping the windows open aswell. I also think keeping the heating on for a while would help too.

are the walls emulsion painted , had the same comlaint in the kitchen then repainted with kitchen and bathroom emulsion now everythings fine.
