I like the town I live in. It's miles from anywhere. We have a bank, but it doesn't have an ATM - you have to use the one in the shop next door; you buy your newspapers at the hardware shop, but if you want a key cut they don't do that - you have to go to the post office. The golf course has very little grass anywhere and none on the greens - they are rolled sand. Annual membership - $80.
This little town, set in the Hotham valley, has a population of about 1800, but hosts an annual rodeo - the biggest in Western Australia.
Oh, yes, and we have a gold mine.
