Hi There
Up until yesterday my boiler worked fine. I used to switch the termostat to on to get heat and hot water. But yesterday I switched it to timed and now it wont work on any settings. I tried the shut down and switch on proceedure and the first two times I did this the boiler ignited and then switched itself of after about three mins. The piolt is working fine but nothing else. Can any body suggest anything as I've just brought my new born son home and the house is freezing.. HELP.

Without any more info it sounds as if the pump may have failed. But does the fan run ???
Question Author
Yhe fan is working. The gas boiler is a concord wrs 240 and is quite old probably 15 years old. programer is also about the same age. the system is gravity feed with a cylinder upstairs.
I still think it could be the pump can you feel if it is running if you canot feel any vibration from it it is probably faulty and needs changing. I am presuming that you have allready checked the fuse ?
