Hi there,

As I am a single mum and as my sole provider for evening childcare is about to jet off to New Zealand for a month!! I was just wondering if any of you had any ideas or recommendations for babysitters in the Kendal Area? It would only be for one night a week if this helps?

well word of mouth is always good if you know any one else who uses a baby sitter, otherwise try the NNEB course at your local college. People training in childcare are often willig to take on part time baby sitting jobs to fund there way through college. Obviously take up references from them first though

Does your child go to a nursery? If so, you could try asking one of the nursery nurses.

Ask other parants what they do, they can usually reccomend someone

Thanks ever so much for your answers I have asked at my local nursery and luckily they have two staff that take on babysitting at night, as my boy goes one day a week this gives me confidence in the staff so thanks once again x

Well i tyink this is about the UNSAFEST places to find a babysitter.
I would say ask your mother or any other familymembers or even a friend.
Never never never take a person you dont even know.
