A common place to find errors in french cars is the sensor that sits under the front seats and is connected to the Seatbelt Pre-tensionners on the front seats.
To check / fix. Switch off everything and slide both front seats forward. The plug goes into a small box and is clipped in. Remove each plug and check for any damage to the points in them. Put them back in making sure you securely push them in and then start your engine.
DONT do this while the engine is running as the system may mistake this for an impact. Doing it without the keys in is a safe bet though.
hope this helps
