When switching on my PC in mornings I have received the following message

"One of the files containing the Systems Recovery Data had to be recovered by use of a log or alternate copy. The recovery was successful"

Should I be concerned about this and what action should I take.

I ran Registry mechanic but this has not made a difference
Thanks

If you have your Windows instalation disk then stick it in the drive and then go to start and run then in the box type cmd then press enter. This opens the dreaded command prompt that everyone is scared of. Now type

sfc /scannow

this will check all Windows system files and replace any corrupt files with the files that are on the instalation disk.

hope this helps you out

Thank you very much Paulst30. I have done that and restarted without a repeat of the message. Hopefully that has resolved the problem
