All I know it was set up by Peter Gabriel among others.

Dont think they attract any "big names", but if youre into....well world music it could well be your cup of tea (herbal and fair-trade obv)

i listen to fresh stuff all the time but its nice every now and then to dig out the classics.

Swizz as Jack D said it's a world music festival - so it features musicians, singers, dancers etc from various countries. Very good for anyone into that kind of thing, or people curious to find out - it's a friendly low-key festival that's smaller scale than most.
