London at christmas 2006

Could anyone tell me - was london decorated for Christmas in December just gone? My friends who visited over the Christmas period said that it wasn't?? Could this really be true?

It was indeed decorated - granted not very well and the lights down regent street were a bit poor, but I can assure you that the Capital city was indeed all dressed up for christmas.
