Does anyone remember a programme from the 80s called "Cover Up"? It starred the late Jon Erik Hexum. Has anyone got any idea if it's possible to get hold of videos of this prog?

I remember.....it got mentioned in a recent post about blank bullets being dangerous (cos J-E H managed to blow his brains out on set). Good theme tune (Holding out for a hero)! Not sure how likely a video of it would be tho. Good luck with your hunt.
Had a nose around, and the series doesn't seem to be commercially available (though I seem to remember the pilot being released as a movie to rent over here). It's not even listed in the voting at TV Shows on DVD! If you are a "member in good standing" at the JEH fanclub, you can order tapes http://members.aol.com/hexnuts/video.htmlor there is a guy with very expensive tapes here: http://members.aol.com/VictorMas/coverup.html. Might be worth an hour or so searching Google - quite often there are people selling episodes of this sort of fairly obscure show, but be warned - it's not normally cheap!

Thank you LeMarchand - fantastic answer! I've checked out both addresses you gave me. I'm not a member of JEH fanclub at the moment, but I think I might have to become one! That other fella is selling them for a lot of money, but I kind of expected that - the videos are so rare. Thans again.

That was meant to be "thanks" again!!
Strangely enough I started thinking about a few days ago, which is why I found this page. There is an episode guide on http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/ShowMainServlet/showid- 5908/Cover_Up/ and i found a few references on movie guides (no idea why!) Everything I've seen written so far credits Bonnie Tyler as the singer of the theme tune, however she didn't do the series version but is better known because she released the single. imo the theme version was better. I remember someone writing to the Radio Times at the time asking if the theme was available but it wasn't.
Oh I also have the paperback version of the pilot somewhere. (Has a lovely picture of JEH on the cover!)
