Yes, it feels like someone using my toothbrush! I wouldn't mind at all if i knew, so i could change the blade before I used it again, no problem, but the thought of 'sharing' on that level, no thanks!
...yet, Andy, you (presumably) engage in far more intimate acts involving the exchange of bodily fluids? don't see a problem myself. only polite to ask first, mind.
I'd have a problem with my bloke using my razor cos it's pink!! Seriously though, I would never dream of using my blokeys razor. What if I cut myself with it and then he uses it and cuts himself? Don't wanna be blood brothers with him, just his lover! I know we've shared other bodily fluids (nicely put by the way rja!) but I don't wanna share his blood or dead skin cells thanks! And mens razors are much harsher on the skin apparently (that's what a pharmacist told me when I went to buy some mens razors once!).
Quite right rja, but sharing intimacy with someone has its limits. I wouldn't share a toothbrush, or a razor, or roll-on deoderant, with any of my family - some things are personal, no matter how much you love someone.
my bf says hes more prone to spots and stuff if iv been using it,but its a bit expensive to use it just the once so mabey make sure you pour some boiling water over it to sterilize, cus it cant be good for his facial skin after its been under my pits
mind? i don't have a choice! married 11 years. it's amazing what you get used to (and share - ooer!). Doolallygirl you'd be surprised how often you share blood (and not from the razor either) without realising it - kissing (your gums bleed naturally don't forget), sex, even holding hands! i wouldn't get hung up on the possibility of sharing blood over a razor (which is almost always rinsed after each shave anyway)
