Reflection of Britain or reflection of the playground?

I've never particularly watched BB before but I'm at home poorly this week and, because of all the press, I've watched it to see what's going on including some of the live streaming.
I found it uncomfotable viewing not because of the implied racism - I genuinely don't think Jade is, she's just a girl with low intellect, however I do think Danielle is - but because of how much it reflects the bullying that goes on in our schools.
You have Shilpa, a beautiful, middle class, intelligent woman who is worth 15 million and speaks 8 languages, she is also witty and talented. You have Jade the equivalent of the school 'tough nut' who is is not bright but gains power by fear and intimidation - no one wants to be on the receiving end of one of her temper tantrums, she clearly feels outclassed by Shilpa so has gone in to attack mode. You have Danielle, the prettiest girl in school who is equally as dim and a bitch to boot, she allies her self with the tough nut - she is the more vindictive as she is more two faced, she loads the gun but leaves it to Jade to fire the bullets and stands behind her to watch the sparks fly, but when Jade is not around and she finds herself alone with Shilpa or her allies she switches tune - then twists and edits what's been said back to Jade to keep in with her. Jo I think also finds herself outclassed by Shilpa so has aligned her self with the 'gang' of Jade and Danielle. The men in there have all backed away to let them get on with it but all support Shilpa but I don't think any of them are brave enough to take on the tough nut. Cleo is the only one who is trying to smooth things over but also doesn't want to fire Jade up so hasn't taken a big stand.

Hi Ray I'm feeling much better, some sort of virus I think. I agree with what you say - they don't call it car crash TV for nothing! - I have to say that part of me hates myself for watching and part of me is so fascinated by the behaviour of these people I don't want to turn it off - it's a bit like having a cage of gerbils in the corner of the room. I have to say I understand why people could get addicted to watching it.
I think I'm right in saying it's original intention was part entertainment part social experiment and the programme is used by psychologists , behaviour analysts etc - so I'll just tell myself I've watched it purely from and educational point of view lol!
Still there is justice, Jade has had her perfume removed from several chains of shops, and this could be the end of her career, I love the irony that the show that made her could also break her. Danielle has lost a 100,000 modelling contract, and her career is never going to get started. BB have lost 3million sponsorship, so maybe it will all go away.

Hi Hellion. I totally agree. The way Jade and her two hangers-on have behaved is discraceful. They have just shown a snippet on tv on Jade apologising to Shipla but to be honest I think she has been told to do that. She has had her new perfume taken off the shelves and I think she has wrecked her career - gobby c*w!!
