Exfolliating a spotty chest

Please can anyone advise me on my problem, I am in my early 50's and have developed a "spotty chest", I like to wear v neck jumpers and my chest looks as if I am a spotty teenager. Help!!

are they large or small spots, if they are small it may be caused by dry skin, if it is try some hydrocortisone cream, from behind the chemist

If it's just happened suddenly and recently, look at what new products you might have tried - skin lotion, perfume, even hair shampoo or conditioner. Did you get anything new like that for a Xmas pressie? Are the spots itchy? Are they like pimples or just lumps? It's could even be a prickly heat rash or the result of sweat from hot flushes (if you're a woman and maybe menopausal) Even the dressing on a new scarf could be the cause. Hope it clears up soon!

Have you recently changed your washing powder? Some washing powders can cause this problem, also if you wash your jumpers by hand, be sure to rinse them out really thoroughly.
