Which vertical blinds?

I have had vertical blinds from a national company and a local manufacturer in previous houses, now needing some in current house and i noticed the ones in argos. they would work out much cheaper than my previous ones (fitting is not a problem). Just wondered if anyone can comment on quality of them, have you had some? without buying them i cant see what i think of them any info would be good. Thanks.

You only get what you pay for! i think you will find that the ones from argos do not have a draw string on them for opening just a rod you pull them back with and also the slats are narrower. I had alook at these but decided to opt for the made to measure ones. I did get a flyer through the post the other day from a major blind company offering 50% off at the moment so it might be worth while ringing around

but also in the other makes labour charge must been included for measuring and fitting?? therefore not all the cost would have been for the blind?

i am not soliciting for you business here but you will find that there are a lot of companies charging well over the top for thier products, i sell the very same product as the biggest blind company in the country and they are approx twice my price, we do not have large overheads or indeed pay huge sales commisions,you do to a certain extent get what you pay for but you can get some very very good deals from local companies, i wont put up my details but i will if you ask me to as i dont want to be seen as advertising on here,good luck anyway,
