I've recently bought a 1992 Range Rover Vogue with twin LPG tanks underneath. The guy I bought it from told me that they were 2 x 40 litre tanks but it takes around 60-65 litres before the LPG pump slows down to full. Am I missing something or have I just been given the wrong info. Also, it only does 120 miles max from full and I was told it would do about 180 miles. (I'm not that thick honest!!!).

lpg tanks don't fill to the brim like petrol tanks. they have to have room for the liquid to change to gas in . therefore 2/3 to 3/4 fill only.
i would get the system checked though 'cos i would have thought 120miles is low. or you have a lead right foot.
You will not get the same miles per gallon with LPG as you would with petrol. I get around 12% less miles when on gas.
I reckon you are getting around 9-10 miles mpg on gas so try finding out how much you get when on petrol. It's a big engine and your driving style need taking onto account.
