what is the best way to tell ur parents ur pregnant. im 24 good job, good boyfriend for 2 1/2 years?still livin at home

Say it just as your leaving the house (late for an appointment so they can't drag you back in)---"I should be back in a couple of hours, see you later! I'm pregnant" Then run! Maybe not! Just sit them down and say "Ive got something to tell you...I'm pregnant" Thats all you can plan for, after that you'll just have to improvise from their reactions!

just start leaving subtle hints lying about,like a pipe and new slippers for your old man.then redecorate their bedroom as a nursery.if they still havent got it,pack them off to an old folks home,move your boyfriend in,change the locks and thats sorted.hope the wee one is fit and healthy too.

Just sit them done with your boyfriend there if possible be really happy about it and tell them straight if you beat around the bush it gives them reason to doubt you, why shouldnt you be proud to be telling them?

Just tell them... they're going to find out eventually aren't they?... and will be hurt you didn't tell them sooner... their reaction may surprise you... in a good way!

yes, how do you feel about it? If you're happy, tell them just as you would tell them any other good news. They do have a right to know if there's a prospect that baby will be living with them; but now would be a good time to start some serious future planning for yourself and boyfriend.

i saw a suggestion on tv. stand in front of your mum and dad with your boyfriend and ask how many people they see infront of them...they are obviously going to say two...then say no three. they will soon get the pcture and they cant be mad as they will find it funny u told them this way...good luck

I would have to say that in order to answer that I would want to know......What you feel about the pregnancy,what does your boyfriend feel,how far along are you.There is more to giving advice than just to answer a question.

For some reason, everytime I phone my mum and say 'I have something to tell you' she exclaims 'you're pregnant?!'
Just say 'can you sit down please, I have something to tell you' they will probably guess and if not, they will be glad its not something bad when you do tell them!
